The Secret Bunker set a quick pace towards a culmination of events with a meeting of all the main characters and left me gripped along the way. It's not often I pre order the next book but I did in this case, there's no way I'm missing what happens next.
I'm fascinated by the fact that Paul manages to provide an authentic teenage voice for his prime character all the way through. Looking forward to seeing what comes in the second of the trilogy which I've already pre-ordered, need I say more?
Really enjoyed this adventure seen through the eyes of the teenage lead character - his voice was so true and compelling. I'm looking forward to reading the others and would rather like to go and visit the real bunker!

... the action is intense and lots of twists and turns abound until the last page is turned. At the conclusion, the reader is left wondering about many events that are still in progress. Wow...... The characters are well defined, plot is fantastic and the ending leaves us waiting for the next part. At least February is not too far off! Most highly recommended.

What gave you the idea for The Secret Bunker Trilogy?
The series was inspired by a family visit to a real-life location called 'Scotland's Secret Bunker'. It's an amazing place, spread out over two levels and each floor the size of a football pitch. The Secret Bunker is a former Cold War bunker in Fife, Scotland, UK where the Scottish Government would have been based in the event of a nuclear war. These days it's an amazing tourist destination.
What can we expect in The Secret Bunker Trilogy?
The story is action-packed right from the start, but it's not at all clear what's happening to the world outside the bunker. The protagonist, Dan Tracy, finds himself right in the heart of whatever is going on. He hasn't got a clue what's happening, but he soon discovers that he's right in the middle of a wordwide crisis!
